We propose that our Live Report project reflects societal views, focusing on our interviews and personal views on certain events. All the events follow a theme of societal interactions, which are incorporated into each event, whether it’s voting prior to the event or immersive interactions throughout the event. We are reporting what attracts society to these events, whether there are any other meanings to the events, and any other views. The events we are focusing on are the Battersea Power station festival, Flowers at Saatchi, London Fashion Week and Leigh Bowery Exhibition at Tate Modern. It is important to report on, due to its cultural significance, how the public views the industry, with possible controversial opinions. Our reports will be illustrated through youtube and Instagram live streams which will be edited after the live stream. Battersea light festival explores how society interprets abstract art, the different reasons people attend and how artists show their artwork. Flowers at Saatchi Gallery will cover the public reception of contemporary art as a point of controversy, questioning accessibility and impact of the exhibition. The Leigh Bowery exhibition will showcase the impact of new art on British culture and how displays can blur the lines between creative art and politics. Conducting interviews with members of the Tate Modern and the British public on their opinions on the opening of the new exhibition. Using Instagram live to showcase the opening and reports. During London fashion week, there was a pop-up shop which displayed and sold a variety of clothes and accessories designed by multiple artists and fashion designers.
